We are a friendly group and welcome new members from the age of 15+; though it must be admitted that the majority of us are somewhat past that age!!!!
Membership of a drama group calls for a variety of skills; not just acting, but also painting and shifting scenery, designing posters, making and decorating costumes and many other off stage tasks. We rehearse on Friday evenings, from 7.00 p.m. onwards.
Each year we donate some of our profits to charity and for the coming season we have decided to adopt Julia's House - the Dorset Children's Hospice. We shall be presenting the Pantomime 'Mother Goose' with a cast of nineteen , lots of audience participation, jolly songs, young people singing and dancing and a very special bear. There should be plenty of hissing and booing as we have quite a few baddies to snarl at! You are advised to reserve the dates February 19th, 20th and 21st, 2009 – three evening performances and our popular Saturday matinee.
